Lisa is an associate attorney at Van Voorhis & Sosna, having joined the firm in 2016. Lisa handles a variety of issues, including divorce, legal separation, registered domestic partnerships, custody and visitation, child and spousal support, property characterization and division, and high-asset matters.
Lisa has worked exclusively in the field of family law for over 25 years both in the capacity of attorney and senior paralegal, affording her the unique benefit and insight into all aspects of a family law proceeding. Lisa is also a wife, mother and grandmother which has promoted an understanding of family dynamics and a dedication to helping clients navigate the difficult process of their family law matters with compassion and life experience. Lisa’s approach is rooted in finding fair resolutions and positive outcomes for the entire family, while zealously advocating for her clients.
Lisa is a San Francisco native, and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and received her J.D. from San Francisco Law School. She is a member of the State Bar of California, California Lawyers Association, the Bar Associations in San Francisco, and Alameda County, and is a Life Member of the California Alumni Association.
