Carol is a Certified Family Law Specialist, certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. Carol is trained in alternative dispute resolution and serves as both a mediator and collaborative practice attorney. Carol uses her extensive knowledge of and experience in all aspects of family law, including property division, child and spousal support, and child custody and parenting plans, to assist parties in resolving their disputes outside of litigation. Carol's practice includes drafting, reviewing, and mediating premarital agreements.
Carol earned her B.A. with distinction from the University of New Mexico and her J.D. from McGeorge School of Law. Carol has a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University. Beyond her law practice, Carol volunteers with the San Francisco Superior Court's Unified Family Court as a settlement master and on the Self-Represented Litigant Conference Calendar. She has served as a Commissioner on the San Francisco Juvenile Justice Commission since 2020. Carol is an active member and past president of Queen's Bench.
